A Note on the Evidence

Some companion planting claims — like the Three Sisters (corn, beans, squash) or planting alliums near carrots — hold up under real scrutiny. Others are traditional wisdom passed down without much research behind them. I try to flag the difference in the reasoning above rather than presenting everything as equally proven.
